July Wrap-Up + August Goals

Hello, bibliophiles! Is it just me, or did August sneak up on us? I was on track and conscious at the beginning of July and then everything just started to blur. I have no idea what happened. Now all of a sudden its almost a week into August! Whaaa?? I must have done some reading though, because I have some things to share! Let me get to it…

So that was my July! I feel pretty good about basically reading and hauling the same number of books. Plus, 8-9 is a good number for me! I have been at about 6 books for the past few months so I’m up a bit! I’d like to keep it here. I’m getting back into writing in my book planner (slowly but surely) and I’m working on the Magical Readathon too! I will have my N.E.W.T. TBR post up really soon….hopefully this weekend!

How many books did you read last month? What did you haul in July?

  1. I read 8 books too! But this month I had three 5 star reads, I went like 3 months with hardly any 5 stars and I had to go back and look at all my 5 stars and see what they had in common bc I was sick of not having any 5 star reads. It was really helpful for me, I wrote a whole blog post about it. But more importantly than the blog post, I found out my reading preferences and it helped me choose better books after learning about what makes a book a 5 star for me.

    1. That is so awesome that you found a reading preference that suits you! That’s a great idea to look back through your history for patterns. I am such a mood reader, my preferences change every hour don’t know what I’ll find with mine, lol! But its amazing to read great books back to back, so enjoy it! =]
