Tag Tuesday ~ I Love Spring! Book Tag

Spring is finally here and hopefully here to stay. Seriously, we just had snow, what, 2 weekends ago? It was absolutely nuts. I can’t handle any more snow! But everything is growing so green now and we’re hitting consistent 50-60 degree days so I’m staying as positive as possible, and here’s a book tag to keep me focused!

  • Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post…Thanks Regina!
  • Link to the creator’s blog (Helene Jeppesen) in your post
  • Answer the questions below
  • Tag 10 others to take part

1) How is Spring where you live?
Spring is unpredictable! Saturday we had a winter storm warning (hail and snow all day), Monday it was sunny and 45 degrees, today its thunderstorming and 60, we might have more snow by the weekend. Last year it was 80 degrees by this time of year! We just never know!

2) Most anticipated book release this Spring?
Wicked Saints, The Princess and the Fangirl, and Sky Without Stars (sorry, I can’t pick just one!)

350203803) Show us a book cover that makes you think of Spring.
Definitely Wild Beauty. I got this book in Owl Crate…last year? Maybe even two years ago now?? I have no idea what its even about but it has pretty flowers on the cover!

4) Where are you going to read this Spring?
I am an absolute mood reader so I am not for sure but I know I want to read Aurora Rising and Once and Future above most other books out there. I also want to jump back into Six of Crows.

339497755) Find a book cover with the sun on it!
I’m picking Beware the Night for this one because I love the cover for it. It just released in mid-March and I have been hearing good things about it.

6) What are your favorite Spring reads?
Hmm. Well, I tend to read lighter reads in the springtime. For example, I just finished Five Feet Apart and that was a really good read in my opinion. I know I read Geekerella last spring and I loved that. Spring of 2017 was when I read what is one of my favorite books, The Light We Lost….oh my gosh, so good. Also I read The Wrath and the Dawn books for some fantasy and they were really good. I loved those–a loose YA fantasy retelling of 1,001 Nights.

7) Find a book with many different colors on it.
26721568This is one of my favorite book covers. I own this book and I am so terrible for not reading it. I picked it up in B&N one day and read the first 20 pages and was hooked so I bought it right away but never got back to it after I got home. I really must get back to it. I’m going to make that a new goal. You all are my witnesses!

8) Whom do you tag?
Anyone and everyone who is in the mood for a fun little springtime tag! This is a good one!

  1. Danggggggg snow in April??? Wow! Also I’m super jealous you’re having the good temperatures because over here it is starting to feel like California and then it jumps down to 50-66 again, then repeats. It’s a horrible cycle if you ask me.

I hope you get back into The Problem with Forever and Six of Crows, and that you enjoy them both when and if you do. I’ll definitely hold you to your word. 😉
