Book Blogger Hop: Nov. 3-9

Book Blogger Hop

This week’s question: When reading a book, do you use a bookmark to mark your place in a book, or do you just fold over the top corner of the page?

23231290_10100115096803889_5978470626375544124_nI love my bookmarks! I may or may not have an addiction. I have magnetic bookmarks as well as straight bookmarks and I love choosing a different bookmark for every book I read. Sometimes I pick depending on the book or the season or my mood. They’re just so fun! I used to be a page corner-er so I’m not 100% morally opposed if I must but usually I’ll find something to use as a bookmark. Post-it note….receipt….some other scrap paper….whatever is handy, you get the idea.

So how about you – what do you use? What is your method of saving the page? Bookmark? Dog-eared page (that’s what my mom always called it)?

  1. I NEVER fold over pages!! I try to use bookmarks, but most of the time I end up using whatever bit of paper I can find (usually the request slip from the library as of late). I also like the little magnetic bookmarks that clip to the pages, except my 3 year old and 1 year old like to take those out and stick them on the fridge!
